The founder of Blue Bag, Jessica Nevith, was ​inspired by her own experience as a homeless teenager and decided to create a platform that ​would bring support and resources to this vulnerable population. Blue Bag offers a variety of ​services, such as toiletries, pregnancy tests, counseling, education, and referrals to other ​agencies. Blue Bag operates in urban areas across the USA, where there is a high demand for ​such services. Blue Bag relies on different sources of funding, such as events, crowdfunding, ​sponsorships, grants, and partnerships. Blue Bag's mission is to empower and uplift teenage ​girls who are facing homelessness and other challenges by giving them the tools they need to ​succeed in life.
